We would like to introduce you to one of the developments we have been working on over the school holidays; The Book Nook.
We are so proud of this as it is in direct response to the children's request through the School Council, Eco and Healthy Schools committees, to have somewhere quiet to go and read during break and lunchtimes. It is a truly wonderful space and the children love it. Our Eco Committee have had a strong input and asked for the space to be fully insulated, have led lighting, efficient heating and recycled furniture. Even the stepping stones are made of car tyres saved from landfill!!
Every child has access to this space both during and outside of lesson times and they can be so proud of the influence they have had in how our school develops.
